Vocabulary Collectors!
Each week, you will choose two vocabulary words to collect. One MUST be from a book you are reading. The other can be found anywhere (word of the day, vocabulary board, etc.) Words CANNOT be taken from the vocabulary workbook. Words should not be technical, science or archaic words. They should be words you can use in your writing. They MUST be 25 cent words!!!!
Required activities for each word:
1. The vocabulary word must be spelled correctly.
2. The part of speech must be correctly identified.
3. A dictionary definition must be included.
4. Include where you heard or found the word. If it is from a book, you must include the name of the book, underlined, and the author.
In addition to the three required activities, you must choose two activities from the list below for each word. You cannot choose the same activities for each word you do.
